Carolyn Tyler, PTA

Carolyn decided to return to community college when her younger son started school. Knowing she had always wanted to go into the medical field, she applied and was accepted into the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Wharton County Junior College. Two years later she graduated with high honors, received her license from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and began her career as a PTA.
Over the last thirteen years, Carolyn has worked in a variety of Physical Therapy settings. Her experience runs the full span from pediatric to geriatric. During these years, Carolyn has gained experience in dealing with both neurological and orthopedic conditions. Her primary focus now is industrial rehabilitation and work hardening. She has had comprehensive training in ergonomic evaluations and brings this expertise to ProActive Physical Therapy Centers.
