Dr. William (Billy) Sheehan DPT
Dr. William (Billy) Sheehan graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he received a B.S. in Athletic Training in 2013 and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015. A native of Elmhurst, IL (western suburb of Chicago), Billy looks forward to exploring Houston and visiting other areas of Texas with his future wife, Linnea.
During his time at Marquette, Billy gained experience working in a wide variety of settings with an emphasis on sports and orthopedics. As an undergraduate, he worked with a local high school football team and served as an assistant to the Athletic Trainer for the Marquette Men’s Basketball Team. While working on his DPT, Billy completed an internship with the Milwaukee Brewers MLB Club where he rehabbed players anxious to return to the playing field. His final internship was at ProActive Physical Therapy and he welcomes the opportunity to
work full-time in such a positive and caring environment. Billy’s treatment approach is to identify patient goals and facilitate recovery using manual therapy and functional exercises.
In his free time, Billy enjoys activities ranging from running to Insanity work outs to brewing beer and cooking. And in a nod to his Chicago roots, he is a lifelong fan of the Chicago Bulls.
