Heather Davis, PT

Heather became interested in Physical Therapy after suffering a painful back injury while still in high school. Fascinated by the PT techniques used in her own recovery, Heather decided her life’s goal would be to help others heal from their injuries as quickly and painlessly as she did. She attended St. Louis University in Missouri, where she played on the Women’s Softball team, and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. During this time, she completed various clinical affiliations including pediatrics, acute care, rehab, and orthopedics. She immediately realized orthopedics was her main interest. At ProActive Physical Therapy Centers she is able to enhance that interest by working with a varied caseload of orthopedic and sports medicine problems. She currently is working towards completing her doctoral degree in PT (DPT) and furthering her skills with continuing education courses specializing in manual therapy. She enjoys exercise and educating her patients about their health and total wellness. Heather’s passion for her profession is very much aligned with the philosophy at ProActive Physical Therapy Centers where “Making You Better Is Our Only Business”.
