Keith Blasingame, PT/President and Founder
Keith Blasingame, President and Founder of ProActive Physical Therapy Centers, PLLC, has been committed to excellence in patient care since 1994. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 with a degree in Physical Therapy, Keith was employed as a staff therapist by a large orthopedic group in Fort Worth, Texas. Within one year, he came to the Houston area to be the Site Coordinator at this group's satellite clinic. In only 9 months, he was able to positively impact the lives of people in the community by serving 120% more patients than when he arrived.
In 1996, Keith took on a new challenge and helped open a Sports Medicine Facility affiliated with a large Houston area hospital. After 4 ½ years in which Keith maintained a relationship with that community, he decided it was time to become an entrepreneur. So, on August 14, 2000, he opened ProActive Physical Therapy’s Pearland Center.
Keith's vision for ProActive Physical Therapy Centers is to offer the community a clinic that is free to make decisions that will benefit the people in the local community. Keith offers numerous programs to benefit the patients of ProActive Physical Therapy Centers. Just a few of the programs are Sports Medicine, TMJ/headache specialty program, Aquatics, Work Hardening, and Job Analysis.
Keith stays very involved with the local communities in which he owns clinics. He has been a Board member of Coppinger YMCA since 2003. Past positions held include: Board member of Pearland Chamber of Commerce, Board member of Pearland Rotary, Board member Project Joy and Hope, President of Pearland chapter of BNI, Membership Committee member of Pasadena chapter of BNI, member of steering committee for Texas Invitational basketball tournament, elected King for 2004 Pearland Neighborhood Center, and member of Fastbreak Booster Club in Pearland. It is through these affiliations that Keith feels he is able to make the biggest impact on giving back to the communities.
